An honest fit check

Which one fits your practice

When Zanus AI Front Office is the better fit

  • You want to hear it on your own business first: its 7-day trial needs no credit card, only a working business website and an email address on that domain.
  • You want one system answering phone, website chat, email and web forms, priced per company rather than per seat.
  • You want a published price up front: AI Phone is $99 a month with about 100 minutes of calls, and AI Answer is $329 a month.
  • Your callers speak other languages. Its site lists 40; its FAQ says English is included and other languages come as one-time packs.
  • Your staff will run it day to day, changing answers and rules themselves by telling its assistant.

When NetSys is the better fit

  • You would rather have engineers scope, script and test the agent than configure it yourself.
  • Bookings and caller details must land in your calendar, CRM or intake system, with access limited to what the agent needs.
  • Handoffs, unavailable staff and failed transfers must be tested in a pilot before it answers your main line.
  • You handle patient or client information, so caller disclosure, recording notices and data handling need review before any live calls.
  • You want a month-to-month agreement and a quote, built from your own calls, that names every cost driver.

How Zanus AI's Front Office answers calls

Zanus AI Corporation, based in Pompano Beach, Florida, sells its AI receptionist within Front Office AI, cloud software that answers the phone, website chat, email and web forms from one knowledge base. Setup starts with your website: its assistant, Lisa, reads it, asks only what it does not say, sets up each department and runs exam calls before the line opens.

On a call, AI Phone answers from your approved knowledge, routes callers to the departments you define and books from your calendar. Its site says that when an answer is not in your knowledge, it takes a message, schedules a callback or transfers the caller instead of guessing. Transfers announce the caller and the reason, and a colleague presses 1 to accept.

Cloud or on premises: where Zanus AI runs

Zanus sells two kinds of product. Front Office AI, which answers the phone, is hosted software with nothing to install. AI Servers, a separate product, are for companies whose data can never leave the building. Its homepage says an owned server runs the Back Office, Zanus's AI for internal work, while the Front Office stays hosted, on a dedicated private environment when policy requires it.

Each option is priced its own way. For a hosted but separate setup, its pricing page lists an AI Private plan, from $2,495 a month billed yearly, with the complete Front Office on its own isolated environment. Servers are sized to the work and quoted, and its online store lists AI Software for Small Business, a one-time license that runs on a Zanus AI Server, at $19,900.

For a receptionist, where the software runs matters less than it first appears. Calls reach any AI receptionist through a phone carrier, so the practical questions are where recordings and transcripts are kept, who can read them and for how long. Ask any vendor, us included, before live calls.

Zanus AI pricing, explained

Zanus prices per company, not per seat. Its pricing page, checked September 2026, lists AI Phone alone at $99 a month: one number, one staff phone in the system and about 100 minutes of calls, with forwarding to staff mobiles at no extra charge. AI Answer, the reception plan, is $329 a month for phone, chat, email, web forms, booking and an avatar, with two staff phones.

Usage is metered in credits at 1 cent each, and the page says a phone minute uses about 39 credits, so every extra 100 minutes of calls adds about $39. More staff phones are $49 a month each. Yearly billing works out to 12 months for the price of 10, there is no setup fee, and an optional Done-for-You Launch on AI Answer is $995.

What NetSys does differently

NetSys AI phone answering is an implementation and management service. We begin with your call log: what people call about, what a booking needs and which calls must always reach a human. Then we script the call flows and the caller disclosure, connect only the systems the agent needs, with least-privilege access, and run it in shadow mode until the transcripts read right.

It takes your main line only after the pilot passes, with handoffs to your own staff and escalation rules your team controls. After launch, NetSys engineers monitor it and review conversations with you. We are based in Brooklyn and deliver the service remotely nationwide, month to month, typically for $150 to $300 a month, quoted after we review a sample of your calls.

Before you choose

Compare both on the same week of calls. Count minutes as well as calls, since Zanus meters phone time, and decide which calls must reach a person. Zanus's free trial gives you a test line that answers as your company; our pilot tests representative calls before the agent takes your main line. Medical, dental and legal offices should also settle where recordings and transcripts are kept.

Common Questions

NetSys vs Zanus AI: FAQs

Is Zanus AI an AI receptionist?

Its AI Phone is. Zanus AI sells Front Office AI, cloud software that its site says answers your business line 24/7, books appointments and transfers callers to staff, along with website chat, email and web forms. The Pompano Beach, Florida company also sells Back Office AI for internal work and on-premises AI Servers. Details checked September 2026.

How does Zanus AI compare for an AI receptionist?

NetSys AI phone answering is managed: we script the call flows, connect your systems with least-privilege access, pilot the agent before it takes your main line and monitor it afterward.

Is an on-premises AI receptionist better than a cloud one?

Not by default. Zanus sells on-premises AI Servers, but its homepage says they run its Back Office; the Front Office that answers the phone stays hosted.

What does Zanus AI cost versus a managed AI receptionist?

Zanus lists AI Phone at $99 a month with about 100 minutes of calls, and its AI Answer plan at $329 a month; extra minutes cost about 39 cents each in credits. A NetSys managed AI receptionist typically costs $150 to $300 a month, quoted after we review a sample of your calls, month to month.
