Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

The NetSys Group (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information we collect from clients, website visitors, and other contacts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices individuals have regarding their data.

By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us (e.g., website visit, contact form submission, service engagement), we may collect:

  • Contact & identification information — e.g., name, email address, phone number, company name, mailing address.
  • Professional & business information — e.g., job title, organization information, business needs.
  • Service-related information — data provided to us to deliver IT, cloud, security, or support services (e.g., network configuration data, system logs, backup preferences, etc.).
  • Usage & technical data (automatic) — when you visit our website, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect non-identifying technical information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, date/time of visit, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and similar diagnostic/usage data.

We collect personal information only when voluntarily provided (e.g., via contact forms, service agreements, direct communication) or when necessary to fulfill a service you request.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries, provide support, or deliver services you request.
  • To manage your account, billing, invoicing, and communications.
  • To assess your technology and security needs via assessments, audits, or consultations.
  • To perform service-related functions — e.g., network security, cloud services, disaster recovery, backups, IT infrastructure support.
  • To communicate updates, announcements, service alterations, or relevant security advisories.
  • To improve and maintain our website — including analytics, troubleshooting, and enhancement of user experience.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including breach notification and security requirements under applicable laws.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third-party marketers for independent use.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers and subcontractors who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, backup & storage, support tools, communication platforms), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Third parties in connection with a business transaction (e.g., merger, sale, acquisition), provided recipients agree to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

We ensure that any third parties we share data with implement appropriate safeguards to protect personal information.

5. Data Security & Retention

We follow reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

If we maintain digital records, we store them securely and implement appropriate encryption, access control, monitoring, and disaster-recovery procedures.

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described (e.g., client relationships, legal compliance, service delivery). When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Breach Notification & Compliance

As required under the SHIELD Act, if we discover that private information has been compromised, we will notify affected individuals, and — where relevant — the appropriate regulatory authorities, as quickly as possible, consistent with applicable law and our legal obligations.

7. User Rights & Choices

Depending on the nature of your interaction with us and the laws that may apply, you may have the right to:

  • Access or request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate or unnecessary personal information.
  • Opt out of certain uses of your information (e.g., marketing communications).
  • Ask us about data retention and handling practices.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

8. SMS / Text Messaging & A2P 10DLC Compliance

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on our contact form, you expressly consent to receive text messages from The NetSys Group at that number. This section describes our text-messaging program in accordance with the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices and carrier A2P 10DLC requirements.

  • Consent is opt-in and not required. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. The consent checkbox is never pre-checked, and you may decline and still contact us by phone, email, or form.
  • Types of messages. Messages may include responses to your inquiry, appointment and consultation scheduling, service and support updates, security or outage notifications, and occasional account-related information.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
  • Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt-out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send further texts unless you opt in again.
  • Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 845-203-3914 or info@netsysgroup.com.
  • Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information and consent are never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties except aggregators and messaging providers strictly as necessary to deliver the messages you have requested. We retain SMS consent records as required to document your opt-in and to comply with applicable law.

9. Cookies, Tracking & Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies, tracking technologies, and analytics — either first-party or via trusted third-party tools — to collect non-personal information (see Section 2).

If we deploy cookies or tracking technologies that collect personal information or uniquely identify visitors, we will provide clear disclosure, and — where required — obtain consent in a way that permits real choice. Controls should not be misleading or coercive.

10. Minors & Age-Sensitive Data

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from individuals under 13 years old. If we become aware we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately, unless required to retain by law.

If we offer services to users between 13 and 18 years old, we will implement appropriate consent or parental-approval procedures in line with applicable laws and guidance.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and, where appropriate, notify clients and users.

We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we handle personal information.
