- Service-related information — data provided to us to deliver IT, cloud, security, or support services (e.g., network configuration data, system logs, backup preferences, etc.).
- Usage & technical data: when you visit our website, technical and usage information such as browser type, operating system, date and time of visit, pages viewed, referring pages and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Our product analytics tool collects this only after you allow it in the analytics notice, and discards the IP address itself. Google Analytics and the Meta pixel also collect usage data, as described in Section 9.
We collect personal information only when voluntarily provided (e.g., via contact forms, service agreements, direct communication) or when necessary to fulfill a service you request.

8. SMS / Text Messaging & A2P 10DLC Compliance
If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box on our contact form, you expressly consent to receive text messages from The NetSys Group at that number. This section describes our text-messaging program in accordance with the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices and carrier A2P 10DLC requirements.
- Consent is opt-in and not required. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. The consent checkbox is never pre-checked, and you may decline and still contact us by phone, email, or form.
- Types of messages. Messages may include responses to your inquiry, appointment and consultation scheduling, service and support updates, security or outage notifications, and occasional account-related information.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt-out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and will not send further texts unless you opt in again.

- Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information and consent are never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties except aggregators and messaging providers strictly as necessary to deliver the messages you have requested. We retain SMS consent records as required to document your opt-in and to comply with applicable law.
9. Cookies, Tracking & Website Analytics
This website uses PostHog, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. All three follow the analytics choice described below.
Product analytics (PostHog), only after you allow it
We use PostHog, a product analytics service operated by PostHog Inc. and hosted in the United States, to understand which pages and services people find useful. It is switched off when you arrive. It is allowed when you choose “Allow” in the analytics notice, or automatically if the notice has been on screen for five seconds and you have not declined it; the notice says so and shows the time remaining, and the clock stops while your pointer is over it or the tab is in the background. Until one of those happens it collects nothing and stores nothing in your browser. Declining, in the notice or with the controls below, keeps it off.
If you allow it, PostHog records:
- the pages you view, and which industry, case study, assessment, service or pricing page each one is;
- which of those links you clicked to get there;
- that a form was submitted, and which kind, but not what you typed into it;
- which version of a page you saw, when we are testing two versions of a page against each other, and whether you clicked its main button;
- browser type, operating system and screen size;
- page performance measurements, including loading time and responsiveness;
- an approximate location (country and region) derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is discarded and is not stored.
It does not record your session, does not capture what you type, and does not build a profile of who you are. You are identified only by a random anonymous ID, stored in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage so that a return visit is counted as the same visitor rather than a new one. That ID is created only after you allow analytics, and it is removed if you later decline.
Your choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage, along with a flag noting that the notice has been shown, so we do not ask again on every page. We also keep a running count of how many visitors allowed, were allowed automatically by the timer, declined or were shown the notice. That count contains no IP address, no identifier and nothing that could be traced to a person.

Clearing your browser’s site data removes your saved choice. The analytics notice will appear again on your next visit; choose Decline to keep analytics off.
Google Analytics and the Meta pixel
We also use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure traffic and advertising. These scripts load only when analytics is allowed under the notice described above. Choosing Decline stops subsequent analytics events from this website. Google and Meta also apply their own privacy policies. You can further limit their tools through your browser’s cookie settings, with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and through your Meta advertising preferences.
Apart from the anonymous analytics ID described above, we do not set cookies of our own for tracking.
10. Minors & Age-Sensitive Data
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from individuals under 13 years old. If we become aware we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately, unless required to retain by law.
If we offer services to users between 13 and 18 years old, we will implement appropriate consent or parental-approval procedures in line with applicable laws and guidance.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and, where appropriate, notify clients and users.
