NetSys Announces Participation in Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program
Defense Access supports approved defensive security work as the Brooklyn firm continues its managed IT and cybersecurity practice.
The NetSys Group is participating in Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program with Defense Access, an access tier designed for qualifying professionals conducting defensive cybersecurity work. According to Anthropic, Defense Access supports activities including incident response, malware analysis, and the analysis and validation of vulnerabilities. Anthropic expanded the program on October 6, 2026 to provide different access levels according to the nature of an organization’s security work.
The scope matters. Anthropic’s published terms cover an organization’s own code, products and infrastructure; using the program’s access in services involving customer systems requires separate approval. The announcement concerns NetSys’s participation with Defense Access. It is not an Anthropic certification, endorsement or authorization to conduct offensive testing, and NetSys does not sell model access.
For clients the work is the same defined assessment: agreed areas such as Microsoft 365 access, devices, internet exposure and backup recovery, with findings ranked by risk, an executive summary and a remediation plan. AI can assist the analysis; an engineer validates every finding.
