Questions, answered straight

Everything businesses ask us before working together — contracts, response times, ransomware, pricing, and AI — answered the way we'd answer on a call.

Working With Us

Do you require long-term contracts?

No — every NetSys agreement is month to month. We don't use long-term contracts or lock-in; we earn your business every month with service good enough that our client retention rate is 98%.

Do I have to submit tickets and wait in a queue?

No. There is no ticketing-system runaround at NetSys. You get a dedicated account manager with their real cell phone number, and when you call, a real engineer who knows your environment picks up and gets to work.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Greater New York Metro area, the lower Hudson Valley, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Southwest Florida, and Palo Alto, California. On-site work is available across NY / NJ / CT / PA / SWFL and the Palo Alto, CA area, and 24/7 remote monitoring covers you everywhere.

How do I get started?

Start with a free assessment or a call. Take the 3-minute cybersecurity self-assessment online, book a free on-site penetration test, or call 845-203-3914 for a complimentary risk assessment consultation — we'll tell you honestly where you stand.

How big does my company need to be?

Our sweet spot is organizations of roughly 10 to 250 employees — big enough to have real IT and compliance needs, small enough that hiring a full in-house security team doesn't make sense. We're only taking on 4 new clients this year, so every client gets senior attention.

Cybersecurity

What happens if we get hit with ransomware?

Every NetSys client hit by ransomware has fully recovered — a 100% recovery record. We maintain offline and immutable backups, test recovery procedures on a schedule, and run a practiced incident response: isolate, investigate, restore, and harden.

What is the free on-site penetration test?

It's a no-cost, no-obligation engagement where a NetSys engineer visits your office and safely demonstrates how an attacker would get in — exposed services, weak Wi-Fi, phishable accounts, unlocked endpoints. You get a plain-English findings report and a prioritized fix list, whether or not you hire us.

Do you provide 24/7 monitoring?

Yes. Our team continuously monitors your systems and security logs around the clock, with real-time alerts, AI-assisted triage reviewed by human engineers, and immediate response — day and night.

Can you help with compliance like HIPAA, NIST, or CIS?

Yes. We align your environment to frameworks including HIPAA, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls — including multi-site medical practices where HIPAA compliance and secure interconnectivity are mandatory.

AI Services

What are NetSys AI Services?

Secure AI adoption and workflow enablement — not just training. We assess AI readiness, write usage policies, train employees by role, design repeatable AI workflows, select and securely configure tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Team/Enterprise, and Claude, and govern it all under your cybersecurity policies.

Our employees already use ChatGPT. Is that a problem?

Unsanctioned 'shadow AI' is one of the fastest-growing data risks: client records pasted into public chatbots, confidential documents summarized by unvetted tools. We don't ban AI — we make it safe, with clear policies on what can and cannot go into AI tools and secure, approved alternatives your team will actually use.

Which AI tools do you support?

We're vendor-neutral. We support Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Team and Enterprise, Claude, AI meeting-notes tools, and document AI — and we help you choose based on your data sensitivity, budget, and workflows, then configure each tool securely with your existing systems.

How do we know if we're ready for AI?

Take our free AI Readiness Assessment. Seven questions score where AI can realistically help your business, whether your data and security are ready, and what to do first. Pair it with the AI Security Assessment to find shadow-AI exposure.

Support & Cloud

How fast do you respond to issues?

Immediately for anything urgent — monitored systems alert us in real time, and clients reach their dedicated account manager directly by cell. There's no tier-1 queue to climb; issues go straight to an engineer who already knows your environment.

Can you move us to the cloud?

Yes — cloud migration is one of our core services. We plan and execute migrations to Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments (servers, VPN, SQL, file storage, Azure Virtual Desktop), with security, backups, and disaster recovery built in from day one.

Do you replace our current IT person or work with them?

Either. For many clients we are the complete IT department; for others we co-manage — handling security, monitoring, and infrastructure while your internal staff keeps day-to-day user support. We fit the model to you.

What does disaster recovery actually include?

A documented, tested plan — not just backups. We define recovery objectives (RPO/RTO), implement encrypted cloud and immutable backups, configure rapid failover for critical systems, and run scheduled recovery tests so the plan works when it matters.
