Microsoft Copilot Rollout and Custom Agents for an 18-Person Organization

An 18-person organization wanted Copilot in daily use, not just licensed. NetSys prepared the tenant, rolled Copilot out to every seat and built custom agents for the workflows the team runs most.

The Challenge

Buying Copilot licenses is the easy part. The organization needed the tenant ready for it, with permissions that would not surface the wrong documents to the wrong people, a rollout that reached all eighteen people rather than the two who volunteered, and agents that did something specific for the business instead of generic chat.

What NetSys Did

The approach

1

Tenant readiness

We reviewed SharePoint and OneDrive permissions, sensitivity labels and sharing settings before enabling Copilot, so the assistant could only surface what each person was already entitled to see.

2

Rollout to every seat

Licenses were assigned across the organization with hands-on sessions by role, so people learned Copilot in the apps they use every day rather than in a demo.

3

Custom agents

We built custom agents for the organization's recurring workflows, grounded in its own data and scoped to the tasks they exist for.

4

Support and iteration

NetSys stayed on to adjust the agents as the team used them and to keep the tenant configuration in step with the rollout.
