NetSys vs. Cortavo
Cortavo sells IT the way a utility company sells service: computers, internet, phones and licensing folded into one monthly per-user fee. That is a real product and a different one from ours. This page sets what they publish next to what we publish, so you can tell which model you are shopping for.
The short answer
Go with Cortavo if you want equipment and connectivity inside the IT subscription and you like seeing the plan tiers before you call anyone. Go with NetSys if you are carrying regulatory obligations or you need privileged access controls, because those are what our agreement is built around. Their IT assessment page states no onboarding, activation or setup fees and a thirty day onboarding target. Ours is one month to month agreement quoted per business after a call.
What Cortavo is
Cortavo runs from Atlanta and says in its FAQ that it supports clients in twenty states. The offering is a bundle: their IT assessment page groups services under Support, Connect and Equip, covering an unlimited service desk, onsite support, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 licensing, IT strategic planning, vendor management, cloud data storage and backup, redundant high-speed internet, VoIP, an office firewall, and computers with a hardware refresh. Client industries they name run from nonprofits and staffing firms to churches, dealerships and start-ups. Their rapid-response services page publishes AI-safety educational material, including a case study and a downloadable eBook.

Equipment inside the subscription
Folding the laptops, the firewall, the internet circuit and the Microsoft licensing into one per-user fee solves a genuine problem: capital purchases stop being an argument with finance, and refresh cycles stop slipping year after year. If that is the problem you have, Cortavo has built directly for it. NetSys covers the work rather than the kit. One agreement carries managed IT with help desk, cybersecurity, AI work, PAM, PIM and disaster recovery planning, and the equipment decisions stay with you.
Hours on the support page
Their Productivity Plan page publishes support hours of 8am to 8pm EST with 24/7 coverage for priority escalations, and describes a US-based, multi-language service desk staffed by certified engineers. Their Raleigh page publishes an average ticket resolution time and a remote-resolution percentage, which is more than most firms will commit to print. NetSys monitors 24/7 and writes response commitments into the agreement rather than onto the website, and a named account manager gives you a real cell number, so there is always a direct line when something has to move faster.
Compliance frameworks and who names them
We searched their site for the compliance frameworks they work to and could not find them published, which is a gap in our research rather than a statement about their practice. If you are under HIPAA, PCI DSS or a state rule, ask them directly and get the answer in writing. NetSys publishes a service page for each of nine frameworks: HIPAA, CMMC 2.0, SOC 2, NIST CSF 2.0, NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, NY SHIELD, FTC Safeguards, PCI DSS and GLBA. For a regulated buyer that is the difference between a conversation and a document.

The honest fit: is NetSys the right Cortavo alternative?
When Cortavo is the better choice
Cortavo makes sense if you want one monthly line item covering the computers, the internet, the phones and the licensing along with the support, and you would rather not run a hardware refresh yourself. Their IT assessment page states there are no onboarding, activation or setup fees and that they aim to fully onboard a new client in thirty days. For a growing company with nobody in an IT seat, that predictability is the whole point.
When NetSys is the better choice

What is a good Cortavo alternative for a regulated business?
NetSys is worth a look if HIPAA, PCI DSS, NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, NY SHIELD, FTC Safeguards, GLBA, SOC 2, CMMC 2.0 or NIST CSF 2.0 applies to you, because each of those has its own service page describing the work we do against it. Privileged access and privileged identity management sit in the base agreement rather than arriving later as a project. If your compliance obligations are light and your equipment problem is heavy, the bundled model may still serve you better.
Does Cortavo require a contract, and what does NetSys require?
Their FAQ states that a contract is required, calls the options flexible, and asks prospects to get in touch to learn more, so the term length is a question for their sales team rather than something readable off the site. NetSys is month to month with no early-exit penalty. That distinction gets larger when equipment is bundled into a plan, because the asset question and the term question end up tied together. Ask both firms what happens on the day you leave.
What happens to bundled hardware if we change providers?
Ask before you sign, whichever way you go. When equipment, connectivity and licensing sit inside a subscription, the exit conversation has to cover ownership of the devices, transfer of the internet and VoIP accounts, and reassignment of the Microsoft tenant, none of which we can answer for another firm's paper. Our agreement covers the services rather than the equipment, so leaving NetSys means changing who manages the hardware rather than unwinding a bundle.
