Joel Baum founded The NetSys Group Inc. in 1998 and has led the firm through nearly three decades of managed IT and cybersecurity work — from the client/server era through cloud migration and, today, secure AI adoption.

He writes on cybersecurity, ransomware defense, compliance, and the operating decisions behind running business IT — the same subjects he handles for clients as the firm's senior engineer.
