Longi Engineering came up when we searched for IT services in New York City, and it makes one of the closer comparisons on this site. Both firms are New York shops publishing short contract terms. The gaps sit in narrower places than usual, which is what this page is for.
The short answer
Both are reasonable choices for a New York company, and terms will not separate them: Longi Engineering publishes no long term contracts, and neither do we. Their site leans into AI consulting, from prototypes through to custom software, and into Microsoft work as a partner of two decades standing. Ours puts privileged access management, privileged identity management, an engineer answered help desk and disaster recovery planning inside the base agreement.

Their about page states two decades headquartered in New York City as a Microsoft Partner throughout, and references more than 300 clients. Contract terms will not decide this
Their managed services site states no long term contracts alongside fixed monthly pricing, which is the same posture we take. Every NetSys agreement is month to month with no early exit penalty. When two firms agree about the thing buyers usually argue over, the comparison has to move somewhere harder: what sits inside the monthly fee, what arrives later as a separately quoted project, who holds the credentials to your domain admin accounts, and how a restore gets tested. Put those four to both of us in writing, because neither website settles them.
Two different bets on AI
Their AI consulting page is broad. It lists proof of concept and prototype work, strategy and roadmap, automation and intelligent workflows, custom AI software development, integration into line of business applications, and AI governance, delivered with a network of strategic partners. If you want a prototype built and a usage policy written, that is a serious offer. Our practice is in house, led by Jamie Baum, and concentrates on readiness assessments, Microsoft Copilot rollouts, custom agents and automating the work your staff repeats. Privileged access, and what we searched for
We searched their site for privileged access management, privileged identity management or managed credentials and could not find it published. That is a limit of our research rather than a statement about their engineering, and the fair move is to ask them directly. We publish PAM and PIM as part of the base agreement, each with a service page describing the work. The point of both controls is that admin credentials live in a vault and elevated rights expire when the task is done, instead of sitting on an account for years. For a firm carrying regulated data, it is worth asking both providers to answer in writing.

Hire Longi Engineering if you want a Manhattan office you can walk into and an AI engagement that goes past advice into a working prototype or custom software, run by a Microsoft Partner managing your Azure and Microsoft 365 tenants. The offices they list in New Jersey and Connecticut suit a company with staff spread across the tri state area. Nonprofits, law firms, financial services firms and government bodies are named on their pages, and the help desk runs around the clock.
When NetSys is the better choice
We are the stronger fit when privileged access or a recovery plan that gets rehearsed is the thing keeping you up at night.
