Managed IT Services in Broward County, FL
Broward County has 31 municipalities and about two million residents, and many of its companies work in more than one of them: a head office in Sunrise, a branch in Hollywood, warehouse space in Pompano Beach. NetSys is a managed service provider that runs IT for all of those sites as one environment from our office in Brooklyn, without a long-term contract.
The short answer
NetSys provides managed IT services in Broward County, FL for organizations from Hallandale Beach and Hollywood to Weston, Coral Springs and Deerfield Beach. The service covers every computer, server and network device at each location: patches applied on a schedule you approve, ThreatDown detection on each endpoint, Microsoft 365 accounts and Intune device policies, the firewall and access points in each office, nightly backups proven by test restores, and the carriers and software vendors you would otherwise chase yourself. It is remote only; NetSys sends no engineers on site in Broward County, and new equipment ships configured. The per-user monthly fee is set after an assessment.

How managed IT is delivered in Broward County
Our engineers work from Park Slope, Brooklyn, and reach every Broward site through the tools installed there: the NinjaOne agent installed on every workstation and server, ThreatDown on each endpoint, and the cloud consoles of your Cisco Meraki or Fortinet firewalls and access points. NetSys does not send engineers to Broward County. Laptops for new staff ship from the supplier already registered in Windows Autopilot, firewalls and switches arrive labeled with their configuration loaded, and a staff member or your cabling contractor connects them with an engineer on the phone to finish and test the setup. Because every office uses the same templates, a branch in Miramar is configured exactly like the head office in Plantation, and a problem fixed once is fixed everywhere. Monitoring runs 24/7 from Brooklyn, and so does emergency service. Our staffed help-desk hours are 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time, seven days a week. The proposal states severe-incident escalation, authorized remediation and any other after-hours work.
Office parks and business districts across the county
Broward's employers are spread out, which is why multi-site IT is normal here. Sawgrass International Corporate Park in Sunrise, which the city describes as the largest office park in the county at 612 acres, holds regional headquarters and operations centers, and American Express moved about 3,500 employees into a regional headquarters in the Sawgrass area. Miramar keeps drawing corporate moves, including VSE Corporation, which the South Florida Business Journal reported in 2025 had moved its headquarters there from Virginia. Coral Springs is adding aviation and pharmaceutical manufacturing, with CTS Engines' 216,000-square-foot engine maintenance facility and a planned Lupin plant. Downtown Fort Lauderdale holds the county courts and the law firms around them. A managed service provider for these organizations has to handle several circuits, several buildings and one identity system as a single job.
Hospital districts, the port and the systems around them
Two public hospital districts divide Broward roughly at Griffin Road: Broward Health in the north and Memorial Healthcare System in the south, which in September 2026 came under the same chief executive for the first time. Around them work many private practices, labs, home-health agencies and billing companies, each with an EHR or billing system and HIPAA obligations. Port Everglades, Florida's leading petroleum port, supplies fuel to 12 counties and five international airports and handled a record 1,167,552 TEUs in fiscal 2025, which supports forwarders, customs brokers and distributors from Dania Beach to Davie. Managed IT for these firms means segmented networks, documented vendor access, backups outside the region and support for the specialized systems each runs. We describe them generically; these are examples of Broward work, not a client list.
June 2024: the flood that closed Broward's schools
In mid-June 2024 a slow-moving tropical system dropped about 19 inches of rain on Hollywood and 12 on the Fort Lauderdale airport; the governor declared a state of emergency for Broward and Miami-Dade, and on June 13 Broward's public schools and district offices closed for the day. Fourteen months earlier, the April 2023 storm had shown how fast the county's roads can disappear under water. For a business with several Broward offices, the lesson is that the whole county can be off the roads at once, so no office can serve as the backup for another. We keep backup and recovery copies in cloud storage outside Florida, give every site a cellular failover line, keep servers on UPS power set for an orderly shutdown, and make sure every employee can work from home on Microsoft 365 the next morning.
What managed IT costs in Broward County
Managed IT is billed per user per month, at a rate worked out from an assessment of your environment rather than taken from a published price list. For a Broward organization, the factors that move it most are the number of sites and circuits, how many servers still run in a closet, operations that run around the clock, such as a call center or warehouse, that expect after-hours work beyond monitoring, the compliance evidence you must produce for HIPAA, insurers or customers, and whether you keep an internal IT person for part of the work in a co-managed split. Hardware, Microsoft licenses and projects such as standardizing firewalls across offices are quoted separately after scoping. Agreements run month to month, there is no long-term contract, and the managed IT pricing page lists what the fee includes.

The write-up is limited to the scope delivered, with no outcome figures claimed.

What managed IT costs in Broward County
Managed IT is priced per user per month for a fully managed agreement, and the number moves with four things more than with headcount: how many servers you run, whether you need after-hours coverage beyond monitoring, how much compliance documentation you carry, and whether we are co-managing alongside an internal person or running everything. We quote from an assessment, not a phone call, and the agreement runs month to month. What belongs in the monthly fee versus what is billed separately is set out on our managed IT pricing page.
Who this fits, and who it does not
Best fit: 10 to 75 employees, one or two offices plus remote staff, already on Microsoft 365 or ready to move there, and either no internal IT or one person who is underwater.

Managed IT Services in Broward County: FAQs
How does managed IT work for Broward County organizations?
Every office is supported remotely from our Brooklyn office. Engineers staff the help desk from 4 a.m. until 11 p.m. Eastern on all seven days, while monitoring and emergency service never stop. Severe problems go straight to your dedicated engineer, and for anything critical you can expect a call back within ten minutes and an engineer working on it remotely within half an hour. NetSys does not send engineers to Broward County, so equipment ships ready to plug in, and your own staff or a contractor connects it with our guidance.
What is included in a managed IT plan for a Broward County business?
The help desk for your staff; 24/7 monitoring of computers and servers with scheduled patching; ThreatDown managed detection and response; Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID administration with multifactor and Conditional Access; Barracuda email protection; KnowBe4 training; Keeper passwords; firewall, switch and Wi-Fi management; Datto or Veeam backups with test restores; documentation in IT Glue; and management of your carriers and software vendors. Quarterly reviews with your account manager cover the roadmap and the budget.
Can NetSys be the managed service provider for offices in several Broward cities?
Yes. A single agreement covers every location, whether that means Sunrise and Pembroke Pines or Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach. Each site gets the same firewall template, device setup and security policies, all visible in one monitoring view, so staff moving between offices sign in the same way everywhere. Pricing counts users and devices, and each additional site adds the network equipment we manage. Each office can name its own approver for requests.
How do you onboard a Broward County office remotely?
It starts with a scoping call and a checklist of admin credentials, carrier accounts and vendor contacts. Our engineers deploy the NinjaOne agent by link or script, inventory each site and its circuits, and deliver a written findings report and cutover plan with costs in the second week. After you approve it, changes roll out office by office over the next two weeks: endpoint protection, multifactor, email filtering and backups, each with a rollback step. Staff get a short guide and the help-desk number on the day their office switches.
What Florida data rules should a Broward business plan for?
Florida's breach statute, section 501.171, asks for reasonable measures to protect personal information. After a breach, affected Floridians must hear from you within 30 days of the breach being determined, and the state's Department of Legal Affairs must also be notified once 500 or more people are involved. Vendors that hold your data have 10 days to report a breach to you, so contracts and the incident plan should say who calls whom. Practices and billing companies add the HIPAA Security Rule. This is general information, not legal advice.
