Managed IT Services in Doral, FL

Doral packs warehouses, freight forwarders, distributors, media companies and defense contractors into a few square miles beside Miami International Airport. NetSys manages the full IT environment for smaller firms in that mix, from warehouse Wi-Fi and scanners to Microsoft 365, security and backups, remotely from Brooklyn and with no long-term contract.

The short answer

NetSys provides managed IT services to Doral, FL businesses for a per-user monthly fee set after an assessment. The agreement covers an engineer-staffed help desk, 24/7 monitoring, patching, ThreatDown MDR, Microsoft 365 and Intune administration, firewall and Wi-Fi management, tested backups and coordination with your software vendors. Support is remote and cloud-based from our Brooklyn office; NetSys does not send engineers to Doral, so equipment ships configured and your staff or cabling contractor connects it. The help desk is staffed 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern, seven days a week, and agreements are month to month.

How managed IT is delivered in Doral

Doral offices are supported remotely from our Brooklyn office, in the same time zone. NetSys does not send engineers on site in Miami-Dade County, which matters most for warehouse operators, so we design networks that a dock supervisor can recover with one phone call. Firewalls and Meraki access points are managed from the cloud, configured spares for the devices that stop shipping are kept on a shelf in the warehouse office, and each network closet is labeled from photos your team sends us. Laptops ship through Windows Autopilot to the office or to staff working from home in Weston or Kendall. Your low-voltage contractor runs cable and mounts access points, and we bring each one online and check coverage remotely before the contractor leaves the building. Monitoring runs 24/7 from Brooklyn, and so does emergency service. Our staffed help-desk hours are 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time, seven days a week. The proposal states severe-incident escalation, authorized remediation and any other after-hours work.

Doral's warehouse, trade and media offices

The city's 2017 competitive assessment, prepared by Florida International University's Metropolitan Center, counted 6,802 business establishments employing 102,235 people, roughly double the city's population at the time, with wholesale trade and transportation the leading industries and 83.2 percent of firms employing fewer than 20 people. The largest names on its list included Carnival, Univision, DHL Global Forwarding, Perry Ellis and the electronics distributor Intcomex. Around them sit the small firms we fit best: freight forwarders and customs brokers running a forwarding and warehouse management system, distributors exporting electronics and consumer goods to Latin America on an ERP with order management, media and production companies with shared storage and editing workstations, and the hotels, restaurants and medical offices that serve the daytime workforce. Each depends on the same layer underneath: accounts, devices, the network and backups.

Defense contractors near U.S. Southern Command

U.S. Southern Command has its headquarters in Doral, and contractors that support it handle Controlled Unclassified Information under their contracts. The rules shifted this year. On July 13, 2026 the Department of War suspended Phase 2 of CMMC, the third-party Level 2 certification that had been due to become a condition of award on November 10, 2026, and put Phases 3 and 4 on hold while a reform task force reviews the program. What did not change: DFARS 252.204-7012 and its 72-hour incident reporting, the NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2 controls, Level 1 and Level 2 self-assessments, and a current SPRS score with its affirmation. We run those controls for small contractors: a separate environment for CUI where the contract calls for one, multifactor authentication, logging, encrypted laptops and the documentation an assessor would ask to see. This is general information, not legal advice.

Storms, floods and the warehouse network closet

Doral's buildings sit inside the Florida Building Code's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, which covers Miami-Dade and Broward and sets the state's strictest wind and impact standards, so warehouse shells usually survive. The equipment inside is another matter. Hurricane Irma in September 2017 left nearly a million FPL customers in Miami-Dade without power, most of them restored within about a week, and four days of rain in June 2024 brought a state of emergency for Miami-Dade and flooded streets across the county. A network closet beside a loading dock, on the floor, on one cable circuit, is the usual weak point. We raise and label the gear, put a UPS under the firewall and core switch, add a cellular or second-carrier circuit, keep scanners and label printers on their own network segment, and back up servers and Microsoft 365 to storage outside Florida.

Your first 30 days with NetSys in Doral

Onboarding a Doral company takes about a month. Week one is discovery of every user, computer, mobile scanner, printer, circuit, license and vendor, plus a review of how money moves, because freight and export firms send and receive international wires every day. Week two puts NinjaOne and ThreatDown on every computer, Barracuda in front of email, and Microsoft 365 and server backups into service. Week three switches the help desk over, enforces multifactor authentication with Conditional Access, and moves shared passwords for carrier, customs and bank portals into Keeper with named owners. In week four you receive the network documentation, a ranked risk list and a 90-day plan, which often starts with payment-fraud controls, warehouse Wi-Fi coverage and replacing any computers still on Windows 10, whose support ended on October 14, 2025.

Complete managed IT, cybersecurity and help desk for a 20-seat organization

What managed IT costs in Doral

Managed IT is priced per user per month for a fully managed agreement, and the number moves with four things more than with headcount: how many servers you run, whether you need after-hours coverage beyond monitoring, how much compliance documentation you carry, and whether we are co-managing alongside an internal person or running everything. We quote from an assessment, not a phone call, and the agreement runs month to month. What belongs in the monthly fee versus what is billed separately is set out on our managed IT pricing page.

How the monthly fee is built

Who this fits, and who it does not

Best fit: 10 to 75 employees, one or two offices plus remote staff, already on Microsoft 365 or ready to move there, and either no internal IT or one person who is underwater.

Common Questions

Managed IT Services in Doral: FAQs

How does managed IT work for Doral organizations?

Office staff and warehouse leads contact the help desk by phone, email or portal, and an engineer works the problem remotely through NinjaOne, Intune or the Meraki dashboard. Engineers are on the desk from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern every day, monitoring and emergency service never stop, and ransomware or a site with no internet goes straight to your dedicated engineer. NetSys does not send technicians to Doral, so replacement firewalls, switches and laptops are shipped configured and connected by your team or contractor.

How much do managed IT services cost in Doral, FL?

The fee is per user per month, set after an assessment, and we do not publish a rate. For Doral firms it moves with the number of buildings, warehouse devices such as scanners and label printers, servers still in the office, the line-of-business systems we coordinate, defense compliance documentation, and whether an internal IT person keeps part of the work. Hardware, cabling by your contractor and projects are quoted separately. Agreements are month to month.

What is included in a managed IT plan for a Doral business?

The help desk; 24/7 monitoring and patching of computers through NinjaOne; ThreatDown MDR and Microsoft Defender for Business; Microsoft 365 and Intune administration; Barracuda email protection and DMARC on your domain; Keeper for shared passwords; KnowBe4 training; firewall and Wi-Fi management on Fortinet or Cisco Meraki; Datto or Veeam backups with a copy outside Florida; documentation in IT Glue; and calls to your software, carrier and phone vendors. A dedicated account manager reviews it all with you each quarter.

Can you support warehouse scanners, Wi-Fi and label printers remotely?

Yes. Handheld scanners and label printers fail for predictable reasons: weak Wi-Fi in the racking, an expired certificate, a printer that lost its address. We design access-point placement from your floor plan, have your contractor mount them, then check coverage from the Meraki or Fortinet dashboard. Scanners and printers sit on their own network segment with fixed addresses and monitoring, so we see an outage before the dock does. Spare printers and access points are kept pre-configured in your warehouse office for a quick swap.

What does Florida's breach law require of a Doral company?

Under the Florida Information Protection Act, Fla. Stat. 501.171, a business that holds personal information about Florida residents, such as Social Security or passport numbers, financial account numbers with access codes or online credentials, must take reasonable measures to protect it. After a breach, affected people must be told within 30 days of the business determining it happened, and the Department of Legal Affairs must be notified when 500 or more Floridians are affected. Vendors holding the data must report a breach to you within 10 days.
