Managed IT Services in Fort Worth
NetSys runs IT for small and mid-sized businesses in Fort Worth: help desk, security, backups, Microsoft 365 and the network, for a flat monthly fee per user. We have run IT out of New York since 1998, and our engineers hold degrees in electrical and computer engineering. Fort Worth is served from Brooklyn, one hour behind us on Central time. Monitoring, help desk and remediation run remotely around the clock from Brooklyn, with coverage hours stated in Central time in the proposal. On-site commitments are arranged in advance and sized to the engagement. Most clients run between 10 and 75 seats, and every agreement is month to month.
The short answer
NetSys provides managed IT to businesses in Fort Worth: help desk with engineers on the line, 24/7 monitoring, patching, ThreatDown managed detection and response, Microsoft 365 and Intune administration, tested backups and vendor management, for a flat monthly fee per user. Delivery is remote-first from Brooklyn, with coverage hours stated in Central time, and on-site commitments are arranged in advance and sized to the engagement, up to a dedicated engineer with a drive time generally under an hour where regular presence is part of the scope. Most clients run between 10 and 75 seats, and every agreement is month to month.
How managed IT is delivered in Fort Worth
Fort Worth is served from Brooklyn, one hour behind us on Central time. Monitoring, help desk and remediation run remotely around the clock from Brooklyn, with coverage hours stated in Central time in the proposal. On-site commitments outside the tri-state area are arranged in advance and sized to the engagement: a mostly remote engagement needs no dedicated on-site engineer, while an engagement that calls for regular presence, such as a standing on-site day or two each week, gets a dedicated engineer whose drive time is generally under an hour, depending on where that engineer and your office are. Hardware ships pre-configured, so most projects need no visit at all. The buildings decide a lot of the design. Downtown and Alliance have carrier choice, but Cultural District offices and Arlington industrial parks often run on one Spectrum circuit, and the aerospace supply chain means CMMC 2.0 shapes the network design. The carriers we see most in Fort Worth are AT&T Business Fiber, Spectrum Business and Frontier Fiber, and the failover design starts with which of them actually reach your building.
Who managed IT in Fort Worth is built for
Most of our Fort Worth work sits in Downtown Fort Worth, the Cultural District, Alliance, Southlake and Arlington: aerospace and defense suppliers on Epicor, logistics companies around Alliance on Manhattan Active, medical practices on eClinicalWorks, energy and professional firms on QuickBooks Online, contractors on Procore, and law firms on Clio. Each carries its own compliance load, which the section below covers, and each has a line-of-business vendor we coordinate with rather than work around. Companies with an internal IT person fit too; in that case we supply the monitoring, the security stack and the after-hours coverage behind them, and they keep their projects.
What tends to go wrong in Fort Worth
Two things shape the continuity design here. First, the weather and the grid: the February 2021 ERCOT grid failure and spring tornado season are the design case, so UPS runtime, cellular failover and out-of-state backups are standard. Second, the attacks that actually land locally are ordinary ones, and the public record shows how they go: the May 2023 Royal ransomware attack on the neighboring City of Dallas, which took police, courts and 311 systems offline for weeks. The controls in the next section are the ones that would have changed those stories.

A 12-person logistic company around Alliance in Alliance
The specific engagements behind this profile are under NDA, so it is written as a generalization rather than a named client. Our published, client-approved outcomes are in case studies.
A logistic company around Alliance in Alliance with 12 staff across the office and remote, Manhattan Active in the cloud, a file server nobody wants to touch and laptops bought one at a time from a retailer. The office manager has become the IT department by default and wants out. The antivirus came bundled with the hardware, the Wi-Fi password is shared with visitors, and the monthly IT spend is spread across three vendors none of whom is accountable for the whole.
- A written onboarding and offboarding checklist covering accounts, devices, access and hardware return
- Discovery on every device, account and vendor contract, documented in IT Glue before anything is changed
- ThreatDown MDR and EDR rolled out to every endpoint, with the console monitored around the clock
- Datto SIRIS appliance installed for the server with immutable cloud copies, and a first restore run and dated within the first month
- Keeper password vault deployed so shared spreadsheets of passwords stop existing
- Quarterly technology review scheduled, with the first written roadmap and budget delivered at the 90-day mark
One provider is accountable for devices, network, Microsoft 365 and security. Staff call a help desk that fixes things, the insurer gets answers with evidence behind them, and leadership sees a quarterly roadmap instead of surprise invoices. The agreement runs month to month.
Complete managed IT, cybersecurity and help desk for a 20-seat organization
A 20-seat organization handed NetSys the whole of its IT. Devices, network, Microsoft 365 and vendors came under one agreement with 24/7 monitoring and a named account manager; endpoint protection, multifactor authentication, email protection and tested backups went onto all twenty seats; staff got a help desk with engineers on the other end; and every new hire now goes through a defined onboarding process with recurring phishing training. The write-up is limited to the scope delivered, with no outcome figures claimed.
Compliance in Fort Worth: § 521.053 and what sits on top of it
If you hold personal information on a resident of Texas, Texas Business and Commerce Code § 521.053 requires notice to affected residents within 60 days of determining a breach occurred and, when 250 or more Texans are affected, notice to the Attorney General within 30 days. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, in force since July 1, 2024, adds data-protection assessments and consumer rights for businesses above the small-business threshold, and Texas HB 300 tightens health-information handling beyond HIPAA. Healthcare practices carry HIPAA and HB 300, energy and industrial firms answer to customer and insurer questionnaires, and defense suppliers face CMMC 2.0. The managed agreement produces the evidence those rules ask for as a by-product: access reviews, patch reports, backup test results and a written incident response plan. Most firms we take over have none of it documented, which is the part that matters if you ever have to demonstrate compliance, so the documentation is built during onboarding rather than sold as a separate project.
What managed IT costs in Fort Worth
Managed IT is priced per user per month for a fully managed agreement, and the number moves with four things more than with headcount: how many servers you run, whether you need after-hours coverage beyond monitoring, how much compliance documentation you carry, and whether we are co-managing alongside an internal person or running everything. We quote from an assessment, not a phone call, and the agreement runs month to month. What belongs in the monthly fee versus what is billed separately is set out on our managed IT pricing page.
Who this fits, and who it does not
Best fit: 10 to 75 employees, one or two offices plus remote staff, already on Microsoft 365 or ready to move there, and either no internal IT or one person who is underwater.
Not a fit: businesses under five people, who are usually better served by the small-office baseline described in our five-person case study, or organizations over 250 seats, which need an internal team we can co-manage with rather than replace.

Managed IT Services in Fort Worth: FAQs
What tools do you use to manage our systems?
NinjaOne for remote monitoring and management, IT Glue for documentation, ThreatDown for managed detection and response, Microsoft Defender for Business, Intune and Entra ID for devices and identity, Barracuda for email protection, Datto or Veeam for backups, KnowBe4 for training and Keeper for passwords. Licensing for those tools is included in the agreement rather than added on.
How quickly do you respond to a problem?
Severe problems get an immediate response from your dedicated engineer: ransomware, systems down, no internet, email that has stopped working. Everything else is worked by severity, so a request to add a printer is scheduled rather than treated as an outage. The help desk is staffed by engineers, and 24/7 monitoring means many problems are worked before anyone calls.
Can you work with our existing IT person?
Yes. That is a co-managed arrangement: your person keeps the relationships and the day-to-day, and we take monitoring, security, patching and after-hours coverage, with the split written into the agreement. Our co-managed IT page describes how the responsibility matrix is drawn.
Do you have an office in Fort Worth?
Our office is in Brooklyn, NY. Fort Worth is served from Brooklyn, one hour behind us on Central time. Outside the tri-state area the on-site arrangement is agreed before the engagement starts and sized to what it needs: none for a mostly remote account, and a dedicated engineer, generally within an hour's drive, where regular presence such as a standing on-site day or two each week is part of the scope. The proposal states that arrangement, coverage hours in Central time and any travel in writing, and the agreement runs month to month.
What does Texas require after a data breach?
§ 521.053 gives a business 60 days from determining a breach occurred to notify affected residents, and 250 or more affected Texans means the Attorney General must be told within 30 days. Texas HB 300 adds stricter rules for health information. Logs, encryption and a written response plan are how a small business meets the deadlines.
